Pre-Shipment Review & Inspection

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), also known as Final Random Inspection (FRI), is a critical component of supply chain management. This inspection occurs at the end of the manufacturing process, when 80% to 100% of goods are produced and packed for export.

Our experienced inspectors at TAS Inspections conduct a physical inspection of goods on a randomly selected sample of manufactured products, utilizing the statistical sampling procedure ISO 2859-1 (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4), during a visit to your vendor’s site.

To ensure that we focus on what is important to you, we customize each inspection by combining our standard inspection checklists with your unique product requirements and Acceptable Quality Limits. Our Pre-Shipment Inspection checklists include an extensive classification of defects and on-site tests based on international standards (EU, USA, AU, and more).
